 Mossy Marauder (AG) Formal Adventure?

This quest gives a chance to earn xp to all skills and powers.

General Information[]

This is a very short quest with few prerequisites yet offers the Mossy Marauder armour set which has pieces on par with the Nightsong armour set making it one of the best non-Tally's armours.

Tips[]

  • By maximizing SP & NV one can find it easier to take down the Mossy Marauder in Scaled mode with the use of powers or combat items long before meeting the required MR for Normal mode.
  • The Mossy Marauder is more powerful with his fists than he is with his axe.

Walkthrough[]

You are challenged by a man on a bridge. What do you want him to use to kill you?

  • Answer 'your axe'...
    • Use Fortification, Telekinesis, Conjuration, or Elementalism (all 60+):
      • 16 XP to the power if successful, then fight Mossy Marauder (Dazed) (11+ Scaled, 275 SP, 134-140 XP), occasionally smashes through your defenses with a devastating blow and you lose 12-27, can't FLEE
      • If unsuccessful - untested
    • Use Archery (60+):
      • If successful, fight Mossy Marauder (Wounded) (11+ Scaled, 200 SP, 134-140 XP), occasionally smashes through your defenses with a devastating blow and you lose 12-27, can't FLEE
      • If unsuccessful, fight Mossy Marauder (Dazed) (11+ Scaled, 275 SP, 134-140 XP), occasionally smashes through your defenses with a devastating blow and you lose 12-27, can't FLEE
    • Hold you ground and engage him:
      • Fight Mossy Marauder (Axe) (12+ Scaled, 300 SP, 134-140 XP), occasionally smashes through your defenses with a devastating blow and you lose 12-27, can't FLEE
  • Answer 'your bare hands':
    • Fight Mossy Marauder (Unarmed) (13+ Scaled, 300 SP, 134-140 XP), occasionally smashes through your defenses with a devastating blow and you lose 12-27, can't FLEE
  • Say nothing...
    • Use Fortification, Telekinesis, Conjuration, or Elementalism (all 60+):
      • 16 XP to the power if successful, then fight Mossy Marauder (Dazed) (12+ Scaled, 275 SP, 134-140 XP), occasionally smashes through your defenses with a devastating blow and you lose 12-27, can't FLEE
