Starting the quest gives some background. Spend one gold to unlock Beggar's Delve at a nearby location for Goblinclaw Inn.

You may travel as you like. There is also a rest area outside the cave if you have enough Woodsmanship

Move to the end of the cave. Along the way there are random combats against random slimes.

Slithering Grey Slime (9+ at MR 47 Exact, ~72 SP, 12 XP), can flee immediately (no attack needed), can be damaged by nonmagical or unarmed attacks

Rippling Grey Slime (9+ at MR 48-50 Approx, 83-85 SP, 12 XP)
