 Item 1745: Battle Marker Misc

Encumbrance: 0
This small, square of ravenbone is emblazoned with the solid silver silhouette of a dragon in flight. Beneath the dragon is a pair of crossed swords, emblazoned in gold.
This is one of the legendary Battle Markers -- a rare and valuable token awarded at random to adventurers, usually in recognition for valour in combat.
How, why, and when Battle Markers are awarded is something that continues to puzzle even the most learned of sages.
Battle Markers are used as a form of currency for certain special game events.

Obtained at[]

Currently, Battle Markers can be received at the following places:

Unique Features[]

These strange items first started appearing in adventurer's inventories on the 1st of March 2010.

Initially, they were only received when getting your Experience reward for multiplayers, but that was later changed.

Battle Markers are completely random, but Multiplayer Battles seem to give more BMs than single-player replayable scenarios - up to 12 BMs from a single multiplayer fight have been observed, while the max observed from the single player ones is 5 for Tarn and 3 for the rest.

Usage Tips[]

Battle Markers are used as a form of currency for certain special game events. So far there have been several Battle Marker Raffles, but none noted on the wiki since 2010.

Battle Markers can also be used to purchase residence upgrades (range of options from 10 to about 400 BM) and Zorliarn's RIng (1,000 BM)

If you want, when buying Varkyn's Ring Of Motley Wonder you can pay part of the price in Battle Markers: 25, 50, 100 or 200 depending on which payment option you will choose (see item page for details).

One of the 3 options for buying Zorliarn's Ring Of Arcana is to spend 1000 Battle Markers.
